Jean-Marc is a senior member of the industrial division with the Montréal DTZ Barnicke team. He is an accomplished executive with a proven ability to develop and implement strategies that support his customers' business and financial objectives.
Jean-Marc has been involved in some of the largest commercial real estate transactions in the Greater Montreal Area. His experience includes tenant/purchaser representation, property listings (sale and lease), sale-leasebacks, built-to-suits and land development. Furthermore, the team which Jean-Marc is part of offers a transaction management service to all his clients, a cornerstone of any successful project. Jean-Marc's client list includes local privately owned companies, multi-national firms and governmental agencies.
Through his initiatives, Jean-Marc has gained invaluable experience in strategic and tactical sales planning. Furthermore, over the last 4 years alone, Jean-Marc successfully brokered over 4.5 Million square feet of commercial real estate in the greater Montréal area including projects for Tyco Health Care and the RCMP.
Prior to joining the firm, Marc held the position of VP, Corporate Sales with a leading firm in the advertising/promotional products industry. The firm was later sold and he successfully coordinated the transition management, successful merger, and subsequent restructuring of the promotional division with one of North America's leading accessories company.
Jean-Marc is fluently bilingual and holds a Bachelor of Education from McGill University and a Certificate in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Concordia University.
Jean-Marc has also completed real estate training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
