| BACKGROUND: |
Richard brings to the company an in-depth knowledge of the investment real estate market, particularly in the segments of office and retail. Over the years, he has specialized in the consulting and valuation of large-scale real estate for acquisition, disposition and financing.
In 1996, Mr. Cesta received his professional appraisal designations and is a member of both
l’Ordre des évaluateurs du Québec (É.A.) and the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AACI).
In 1998, Richard joined the real estate consulting group of a well known accounting firm as Director of Real Estate. While pursuing business development opportunities, Richard also was a key contributor to the "Montréal Office Market Analysis and Forecast", a well respected publication dealing with the inner workings of the office market.
After working in 2001 with CDP Real Estate Advisors (formerly Cadim) as a director responsible for international partner platforms, Richard returned to valuation and consulting in 2002 and has since been involved in several high profile assignments.
Richard is dedicated to the real estate profession and enjoys working with people. He graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Real Estate and Entrepreneurship). |
