DOWNTOWN BUSINESS DISTRICT
Downtown Kingston is a vibrant and prosperous full service commercial district featuring over 100 restaurants, and over 200 specialty stores in a beautiful, historic waterfront setting. Princess Street from Division Street east is a one-way, eastbound street and is the major retail street in downtown Kingston. The north south streets in the central business district are quite heavily developed with commercial properties between Queen and Brock Streets. Ontario Street, south of Princess Street and adjacent to the Lake has developed particularly into a major commercial area, gearing heavily to tourism in the form of hotels, restaurants, lounges and boutiques etc.

In recent years, major retailers such as Indigo, GAP, Roots, Staples, The Body Shop, Rogers AT &T, Good Life Fitness and dozens of other businesses have moved into Kingston downtown. The core area boasts almost 10,000 employees and 75 businesses including Sheraton Hotels in approximately four million square feet of commercial space. There are also over one million square feet of residential space and two major hospitals within the same area. Queen’s University and Market Square are within walking distance.

PARKING
There is a two level underground parking garage containing 92 stalls. The entrance to the garage is off of King Street East. A total of 880 spaces are available with a three block radius within the following municipal
parking lots.
